Welcome To "The Light " in The Darkness Web Page
Your Gateway To Heaven

"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad
is the way that leads to destruction. and they are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it"
( Matthew 7:13-14)

Go Light The Word

Jesus once said, "You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do  people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to   everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your  good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."
(Matthew 5:14-16).

The contemporary Christian song, "Go Light Your World," has fanned into flame a desire to   evangelize to the world, to share the joy and peace that I have in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is my   prayer that the lyrics to this sweet song will inspire each and every one of you to share your faith  with a lost and searching world. If every Christian shared the gospel with just one non-believer a year, the great commandment would be fulfilled in our lifetime...

There is a candle in every soul
Some brightly burning, some dark and cold
There is a Spirit who brings fire
Ignites a candle and makes his home

chorus:
Carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the hopeless, confused and torn
Hold out your candle, for all to see it
Take your candle and go light your world
Take your candle and go light your world

Frustrated brother, see how he tries to
Light his own candle some other way
See now your sister, she's bee robbed and lied to
Still holds her candle, without a flame

chorus #2:
Carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the lonely, the tired and worn
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle and go light your world
Take your candle and go light your world

We are a family whose hearts are blazing
So let's raise our candles and light up the sky
Praying to our father, in the name of Jesus
Make a beacon in darkest times

chorus #3:
Carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the helpless, deceived and poor
Hold out your candle, for all to see it
Take your candle and go light your world
Carry your candle run to the darkness
Seek out the hopeless, confused, and torn
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle and go light your world

MISSION STATEMENT:

To spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ(I Corinthians 15:3,4), the message of His soon return(Titus 2:13), and the truth of the Bible(II Timothy 3:16) to all peoples in all nations(Acts 1:8) using all available resources to bring Him honor and glory(Colossians 1:18). Firmly committed to the importance of personal salvation through Christ, in inerrancy of Scripture, and the imminent return of our Lord, Fred Weeks is dedicated to exalting the name of Jesus and proclaiming the prophetic message to all - a warning of judgment to the world and a message of hope to the church. Proverbs 3:6: In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths(KJV).

STATEMENT OF FAITH

I believe in the verbal inspiration of the Bible, both the old and new Testaments; the Trinity of the Godhead; the creation of man by the direct act of God; the fall of man and his need for redemption; the Deity, incarnation and virgin birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ; His vicarious atonement for the sins of mankind by the shedding of His blood on the cross; the resurrection of His body from the tomb; His ascension into heaven; His personal, imminent return; the Deity of the Holy Spirit; justification of the believer by grace through faith; a literal devil who is our adversary; a literal heaven for the redeemed and a literal hell for the lost; the infallible rule of interpretation of Scripture to be Scripture itself; and the requirement of implicit obedience to the expressed commands of Christ as the standard by which He will judge our love to Him.

" For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth
in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son
into the world
to condemn the world;
but that the world through him
might be saved."
John 3:16-17
"And this is the promise
that he hath promised us,
even eternal life."
I John 2:25
